Midland, Texas in 1926, in a unique photo taken from the County Courthouse. The turrets of the old jail are visible below while the foundation for the Scharbauer Hotel is just underway. The Leggett Building is being built to the right. The Llano Hotel and the filling station locales are now occupied by the Midland Convention Center.
