Yellowstone Brown Bear, 1963.
Image shot with Kodak Brownie 135mm.
The days when we visited Yellowstone National Park, bore no resemblence to the experience one gets in the park today. Then there were plenty of visitors to be sure, but not the hoardes who come now. You could drive through the park at your leisure stopping to take photos. The rangers, though present, gave visitors the liberty to use their own common sense in approaching wild animals. Since I had very little I was able to get this very close shot of a very large bear. |
