Gentlemen of Let's Go Fishing, we on the hilltop salute your commitment to excellence! As you probably realize Trinity University has had a longstanding association with fishing. Many of our students, alumni and distinquished instructors have at one time or another gone fishing. And as you may recall, before it became politically unacceptable, we had fish on Friday's in the Refectory!

To honor your dedication and scholarly pursuit of fishing, I have designated Friday, the 28th of March as "Let's Go Fishing" day on the Trinity campus. We will encourage discussion groups on angling, have a bait selection seminar held at the reflection pond and a moment of silence at 5 P.M. to honor "The Missing Fisherman".

To further recognize your contribution I have set up a special Let's Go Fishing account in the Trinity University Endowment Fund. I challenge you to donate, each to his own ability, a suggested minimum of $300 for each fish caught. We will honor your generous donations by awarding a plaque to be hung in the Earl C. Sams Memorial Center [lower level] .

Again thanks for your contributions to angling and "Let's Go Fishing....."
