I've been thinking that I need to become, once again, more involved in local stories of interest. Here are a couple of items making news around the area:
1] New Mexico Air begins service out of Midland International Airport. Now one can fly to Hobbs NM round trip for $150. The obvious question on most people's minds is....Why?
2] The Midland city council approves expenditures for 20 new larger police cruisers. I'm sure we need updated models.....now if the police force could actually be trained to use these to enforce traffic regulations the money would be well spent.
