Let's all be happy...!

The Rich Menchaca affair is over, according to both sides in the negotiations. In another round of deft and hardball negotiations the city council stood firm in it's resolve to give Rich almost exactly what he had demanded before the council said the original "deal" was off the table. Rich thanked his supporters, said he was happy and ready to move on [who wouldn't be!]and a city council spokesman said he was satisfied with the deal and that he was ready for the council to move on.

All seem to be happy with the deal. Unless, of course, you count the other 99,990 odd citizens who don't seem to be very happy at all. Not even slighly amused by my reckoning.
