Artist Polly...

Artist Polly is a friend of mine in Austin. A real live professional artiste who used to live in a barn artist's garret in Galisteo, New Mexico. Polly was an "older" woman in my days at Midland High and as such an object of much unintended affection from an underclassman. OK not just her, no offense Polly, but most attractive upperclass women were the objects of affection by the younger wannabe Romeos. That's just the way it was. Susan Light was another to mention names. Susan was a junior or senior when I was a freshman; a blonde cheerleader who went with the star football player. I saw her last summer at a reunion and my heart still skipped a beat. Polly was there too...and they're both still hot babes!

I'm sorry I digressed. I merely wanted to mention that not only is Polly a talented visual artiste, she also writes great stories. This week she relates some humorous moments in her days as a young fashion model in Niemans in Dallas. Here at PWally
