Smooth Jazz...

I've been a fan of Tom Braxton ever since I listened to his first album. He's a world class saxophonist, smooth jazz artist and a very nice and intelligent guy to boot.

Last night at the Hilton was another of those occasions when I wonder where are all the people in Midland who say there is nothing to do. There were 20 people in the crowd. Embarassing, but great for the "crowd" as we got to participate in the show, throw out requests [mine: some Antonio Carlos Jobim, done wonderfully] and I got to take some great photos here and here which Tom graciously took the time to help me compose.

A great night, a late night and a great time.
