Usually I don't participate in the latest quirky participation game, quiz, or list passed around on the Internet or email, but since I'm a great believer in books I'm taking the cue from Tim Blair and passing this one on.
Here are the instructions:
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 23.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
Here's mine and believe it or not....when I opened my book, it fell open directly to page 23, strange.
"What do you mean, 'probable'?, Lovell asked, "did they survive or didn't they survive?"
This page 23, 5th sentence quote is from "Lost Moon, My Perilous Voyage on Apollo 13" by Jim Lovell and Jeffrey Kluge. A reference book that was sitting on my desk, a remnent of Jack's school history project on that subject. We'll be looking forward to reading yours.
