A family outing with Julie and Jack to Green Acres, the premier miniature golf course between Abilene and El Paso. A cultural icon in our fair city and virtually untouched since my boyhood days. The course was in immaculate condition with new plastic turf and the Castle Gate newly repaired. We take our miniature golf seriously and play by "Jungle Rules"...one mulligan allowed per round. The Mulligan is needed as there are three [3] "Ant Hill" holes, which as you know are the most difficult in all of miniature golf. The score was realitively close, but so as not to embarrass a child and his mother......the score and the winner will not be announced.
