Well here it is 1:45 or is it 12:45.....or perhaps 2:45? Who knows when they change the time twice a year. Is this Daylight Savings Time or Daylight Unsavings Time? Who can keep up. All I know is that know instead of dark coming at a regular feeling time like 7:30 it will now fall at 8:30. Which means I have to slave in the yard an hour more a day. And by the end of the summer in W. Texas it doesn't get dark until 10 PM. This daylight savings time was originally foisted on the American public with the thought that farmers could work more hours and school children would not get killed walking to school. Well sports fans, we ain't got too many farmers left and when was the last time you saw a child actually "walking" to school. Farms are automated these days, and so if a couple of school children are stukk run over each year. In my opinion we have too many school children and they're ungrateful wretches anyway.
I will once again [as every year] present the plan for Pedro Savings Time. Which is.........dawn will come at 7:00 AM each and everyday of the year. Every citizen will be issued a digital watch tied into the National Atomic Clock and therefore will always have the correct time which will be adjusted each morning at dawn. Obviously some days will have a shorter number of minutes, but this will change gradually and people are generally stupid and won't know the difference.
And.......here is a story that generates some hope for me of mankinds goodness toward dogs. Dog Rescue.Com
